The vessels of the project are sailing catamarans from the shipyard SUNREEF Yards from Gdansk, Poland. The shipyard was founded in 2002 by Francis Lapp in Gdansk – a place with a long tradition in shipbuilding and a skilled workforce. With the launch of the ocean-going 74-foot luxury catamaran with a flybridge in 2003, SUNREEF Yards ushered in a new era in yachting and initiated a change in philosophy in multihull designs.
Today, more than 140 SUNREEF yachts, both sailed and motorized, sail the world’s oceans and carry the SUNREEF feeling to every corner of our planet. The company is now a world leader in the design and construction of large, custom-built luxury catamarans and is a guest at major yacht exhibitions, including Cannes, Monaco, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Dubai, Qatar, and Singapore.
The SUNREEF 80 ECO Sail is an all-round sailing leisure yacht, ideal for exclusive getaways, charters, and overseas adventures. This model is characterized by a combination of exterior and interior areas that flow smoothly into each other. A clever bridge deck and superstructure design ensures the highest level of comfort on board, while the high bulwarks and noble lines underline her modern style with a classic touch.
The bow has a comfortable lounge that is well protected from the sun and wind. Aft, the saloon merges into the spacious cockpit, which is extended by a large bathing platform. All areas together form a universal, open environment in which flexibility and freedom reign.
While the main helm station is located on the 54 m² flybridge, it is dedicated to leisure, with more than enough space for movable furniture, a jacuzzi, a fully stocked bar, a barbecue and large sun pads.
