Sustainability expert Marcus Hirsch, (born 1965) Diploma in Business Administration (BA) Business, Tourism and Marketing, IT Process Coach, Sailor, Initiator, COO and Co-Partner of 3Ship Oesterreichischer Lloyd Cruises Ltd., Co-Partner of the investment and shipping company MMC 1 Cruises Ltd.

Under the leadership of travel and sustainability expert Marcus Hirsch, a team of more than 25 experts has been created since 2014 to make the idea of 3Ship Oesterreichischer Lloyd Cruises a reality step by step: sustainable and CO2-free travel across the world’s oceans.

The UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are primarily intended to change the minds of many people. This has motivated Marcus Hirsch and many of his supporters to implement this in areas that he himself knows well: tourism and the sea (sailing, diving, kiting). The cruise industry, as a demonstrably ecological tourism aberration, was the reason for Marcus Hirsch to modify and redesign this actually great form of travel.
